Raleighgurrl, Clay touched my heart just as he did yours. How could anyone not feel his love. Yet, surfing I've run across several complaints about JNT05. Must be from "half full" personalities. It must be true about him being at the Botti show. That's the second report I've seen. The first report said he had on his puffy black parka as he left with two friends and that he didn't go backstage. Debya~ I've seen the reports around Claynation, of Clay being seen at a concert in Durham, as well. While I have no way of knowing if he was actually there, it wouldn't suprise me at all if it was true. The concert that he was supposedly seen at was a Chris Botti concert. For those unfamiliar with him, he is a jazz trumpeter (very good, and very cute). He opened for Josh Groban on his tour last year (whose albums have been produced by David Foster, brother of Jaymes Foster Levy), he also is featured on a song on Michael Buble's most recent album (also produced by David Foster). He also toured with Sting (before touring with Josh Groban) and the two of them have collaborated on several projects. I would love it if there were a collaboration between Clay and Chris on Clay's new album. I love to hear about Clay getting out to concerts and shows. ....shifting gears....... I haven't posted much lately (although I do read regularly), so I've been hesitant to post a BEVR for my JNT05 experience. I do want to share two things, however. The first is that I went with Mr. RG, my dad, my daughter, my mom, and my mom's mom. That's right, there were FOUR Generations of women from my family there ranging in age from 7 to 93!!! The second thing that I wanted to share is what I wrote about the second half of the show. I’m convinced that when Clay sings about Jesus, the gates of heaven open up and we get a glimpse inside. OHN, TFN, MDYK, Emmanuel. There is nothing more heavenly to my ear than Clay singing these songs. He touches my soul with his voice like nothing else……..and then he had to go and sing to his Papa…….as I sat there next to my own grandma. Every time I think I could not love Clay Aiken any more, He goes and proves me wrong. I can't wait to see what Clay has in store for us in '06!
