Mwaaahhh! Paula in Lou!! Wonderful, fun, fun Lou dinner party last night!! Clay sang to us! He also sat in a dinner plate at the head of the table..hee-hee! Thank you for the game! That was fun! Except playing a card game when Clay is singing is a long process. The whole game has to stop when Clay hits a glory note...a low note...laughs...speaks...or breathes. Then another five minutes to figure out who's turn it was before Clay put us all in a trance.

Five hours of talking about Clay wasn't enough though....Diane in the Lou and I were yakin' so much in the car about him on the way home, we forgot where we were. Thought for a minute there we might be almost to K.C. ha! Actually had to pull over in a gas station once to shuffle through my 20+ Clay CDs to find him singing "Wind Beneath My Wings" at a wedding. Never did find that. Clay makes me unorganized sometimes...to say the least. I'll send it to you....or give it to you at the next "drought / pre..pre-CD release party" at my house! allison He has that incredible voice and hair too???? Ha! The man IS amazing! My most recent fav is JBT hair though.

Hey, I don't know what's going on, but the words on my computer screen have gotten considerably smaller. Either my eyesight is getting worse (I did just turn a significant number on my last birthday, ending with a 0) OR my kids are playing a joke on me...HAHAHAHAHA.

I received a lovely surprise Christmas from a very dear friend....a copy of Jeannie Holleman's book "Out of the Blue." I really enjoyed reading the many, many letters she received from Clay fans all over the world. In case anyone doesn't know, Jeannie is a long-time family friend of Clay's "nanny" Amaryllis. It was fun to read about people I've met and become friends with through the Internet. What a small world we live in! I thoroughly enjoyed the book and recommend it to any Clay fan.
