Very interesting. Newland is reporting that you are so busy when you are getting ready for the show... You have actually no time to interact with any of the regulars. You have one of the regulars assigned to you, to teach your "group" what they are to do. Saying the local group was really rather segregated from the "regulars". Kinda cool getting a backstage glimpse of how they put the show together. Sounds professional. Sounds like Allison is really really in charge of the locals. Really professional. Says that the regulars have a great vibe around them, really enjoy each other, great atmosphere. Everyone is really nice, just good people, they were having fun, so it was fun to be around them. Saying allison gives a speech about why they use community theaters, saying clay believes in it, because that's where he got his start, yadayada, saying that it really touched the locals. He is definitely growing new fans with the groups he has used. They appreciate his voice, but he has got them on another level now. They won't be internet, enthusiastic fans....but they will definitely follow him. Okay, I'll prolly be back if I hear more, PLUS I'm gonna watch new clack, so I'll prolly spill. : )

Oooh, we're getting good news. HUGE audience ovation, melting into the "angels" voices. Immediate silence from audience, nice to hear. I still can't get over that I like this song now. Only took me two years and seeing it in person, but dang, there's just something about the way their voices color each other that just makes it all more. Can't say it better than that. I honestly don't think this would sound as good with just Clay. He needs the other "angels". Of course he is the anchor, but he needs the waves rolling over him to make it sparkle. Course he wouldn't like that description, I'm sure. : ) And dang, if he don't just send chills up my spine with the ooooh, I BRING you good news. He says it sooo convincingly. You just know he ain't fixing to tell you about a shoe sale at Nordstrums or nothing. It's just important to him. That was beautiful. Okay, /end of sacrilege. : ) I'll be back for report if I hear anything newsworthy.

HEE, he milked that "love is warmer when you're in it" harder than any jersey cow has ever been tugged at!!!! Hilarious. But then he gets serious again and tells us not to save it. Sheesh, make up your mind, eh? And the place erupts. Amazing glory note. Just an amazing outpouring of sound. Glory note melting into audience response. kinda fun. : ) Okay, herding kids, be back for report.

Shoot, lost the pages. (I only thought I lost the pages, thus the double post). But I’m typing in word now. : ) I’m listening to his message now, his taped bit. I haven’t really paid attention in a while. I really do like that he wrote this. I like his words. And the audience actually applauded this time, during the message. They got it. Very nice. Okay, intros. Telling we’ll be back here tomorrow. Bets he sees some same people. He seems to be stumbling a little over his thoughts, but managing to come up with the same words eventually. : ) Hee, he said William’s CD would make a good new year’s eve present. He said something about Andy, but couldn’t catch, now about first christmas with baby girl. : ) Now dancers. Shoot, big screams about something, but I missed it, of course. Musta been Gregory cause he’s talking about Allison now. Now Q & A, and telling us about coming back tomorrow night again. HEE. Felix and Angie got the bumpdabump thing together tonight. Hee, he's apparently counting names off on his fingers, hoping he doesn't forget anyone. He is cute, even when he's rambling. Talking about strange, doing Christmas after Christmas, New Year's just around the corner, now we're into DSIAFCD. BRB. OOH, he did something cute apparently during the beginning, laughter. and he said something in an aside, but i didn't catch. I will be looking for clack of this one. : )

MDYK. Very nice audience reception. I lurve that every audience that I have heard recognizes and welcomes the very beginning notes. I know I'm a broke record, but he has gotten so good at inserting the soft (okay, shut.it.again) nuance into his voice, i just appreciate it very much. I am just all atwitter re the new cd. If he can make me feel like I'm hearing all new again with these songs I heard last year.... imagine how he'll blow us away. Dang stoopid screamers. pppffft. ooh, lots of awwws. Wonder what was different? Q now. BRB.

Shoot, now we're into Oh, Come. heh. And we lost the stream again. But I had a thought from those few notes. He really does have the ability to paint a picture, to make you think. How very odd it must have been for the world that night, if you think about it. Imagine, the sky lighting up with all these angels and stuff. Freakazoid time. I think I mighta been tempted to run and hide effen I was one of those shepherds. I know YMMV on the story and whatnot. But Clay sure can tell a story and make you question what you have heard a million times. I hark back to him singing Sugar Pie Honey Bunch, and just watching, mezmerized, his FINGERS. GAH. Made me feel longing in that song like I never felt before, always before it was just bubble gum fluff to me. Okay, we got the stream back, back on topic. : ) Oh, and we missed Emmanuel, but we got the gift of the last "rejoice" just breathed into the air, like it belongs there, from the beginning of time. Gah.

TFN. Wow, he did a new little flutter on one of the Noels. GREAT. Sorry, I seem to be listening more than typing on this one...but wow, he is sooooo fearless, flinging out those ending notes, that Isreal.... promise. Don't even know what to promise. He's getting great ovation. HTHAS. SHOOT!!! We lost stream!!!!! WAAAHHH. My fave song. *sob* I'm just gonna sit here and type expletives till we get it back. : ) Okay, I'll be patient, cause one should not curse a gift, right? ?? Posting, brb. hopefully.

Awww, Shieldy *blush* thankee kindly. *hunches over keyboard determined to type LOTS of words*. : ) Long piano intro again. Reckon the folks are filing into church. The magic prinngggg. Beverly and Gregory. I hope we hear more and see more of Gregory. He's a cutie. Bwah. Just had a vision of him as Pottsie and Clay as Fonzie. Okay, back on topic. OHN. gah. He really used to ANNOUNCE he was singing a religious song, just hit you upside the head with that frying pan, but now he seems to have learned how to lay out cotton batting, and comfort, more than slam. No loss of the glory, but much more nuance and depth. IMO. OOH, big applause after that night divine. Makes me curious. I also wonder if his travels have affected his accent. He does pronounce words differently than he did at times. Again IMO. Like "night" is now "night" and not "niaught". You know what I mean? Too bad he ain't singing about those pesky eskeemoes this year. : ) Gregory just does a delightful job with the readings. So much better than the local kids last year. I like the continuity of hearing the same voice. Makes it more of a tradition. Like Christmas Eve in your own home. That last divine was just liltingly, wonderfully soul touching. Lovely. Gonna post.
