The Newland story may be at the CH (yes, I DO cheat on ya and read back and forth), but they don't have Jillcerts! You know I love your way with words.

Okay, fire me. I can't catch all Newland is saying, but the gist is, it was a very enjoyable experience, being part of the local group. Clay was gracious, the dancers were great, Allison was hilarious. I'm just gonna listen till the sanging starts. I think there will be good descriptions on the CH if you're curious. : )

Angela is doing a very nice job on MYMACT. She tends to sound screechy to me, but I tend to think it is a function of the stream, and she is sounding richer tonight, v. nice. OMG, a very patti labelle OOOOhhhhh, gosh, skeered me. she is holding out this one note longer than i go between washing towels. shut.it. Dang, she woulda won the note holding contest with Clay on that one. Beverly and Tommy are doing a GREAT job on the vignette re being happy he came to visit her. Right tone of laughter in their voices, just warm and loverly. *sigh*. Now, we're celebrating home. I love the way he kinda steps the words leading in at the beginning, just cuts them precisely, then drifts into longing linging holding onto the syllables following. Very descriptive. OOh, that c'mon home. Yeah, I'd go live in a box on the river with THAT voice!! Hee, john.d.is.talking. He has finally loosened up enough that he actually sounds like he is having a conversation. : ) Gonna post so I'll be back for report. Newland is gonna tell more stories about her adventures on stage last night, I think.

OOOH, OOOH, we're back. I've been sitting listening, quivering with fingers poised over the keyboard. : ) He is of course singing beautifully. We just heard HYSAMLC. And he was strokingly gentle. Wonderful. Beverly has more of an accent tonight than me, and I didn't think that was humanly possible. Time of year world falls in love...*sigh* It will be true for me every year as long as Clay sings it to me. There's still something that bugs me about how he says "Christmaaas" in this song. I sure can't point fingers at pronunciation, but it just sounds so... not right. Sounds like dancers were getting applause in middle of song. Sounds like they are appreciating the "work" tonight. Great response for "came in second line" Lots of woohoos! Biggers yells for shoulda won, and that Clay Aiken guy, laughs for that one. Odd rushed beginning to SB, but just my opinion, may just be my ears, but he and Allison really do sing this beautifully. He blends better with her than with anyone we have heard so far, IMO. I have never been a fan of this song, but I kinda like her rendition. She kinda leaves out the treacly sappy bits, gives a crisper delivery. And I adore their harmony on the ending. Lovely. Gonna post. See if it works.

Great MP, Miz Julie! A 2 HOUR mASSage(tm, Nelle: Let's see, a 2 hour mASSage is recommended for stress and tension reduction while relaxing your entire system. This will increase your circulation and metabolism. Be petrissaged and effleuraged into the heavens with this superior mASSage! OK, I had to look up some words: Effleurage means to apply rhythmic gliding strokes to various parts of the body. Petrissage involves squeezing, rolling and kneading, using both hands, of course! heh heh. Sheesh, 2 hours does NOT sound like enough time, does it?

Jill .. reading back through your cellcert report ... the guy yelled 'I LOVE YOU CLAY' from the higher part of the balcony. It solicited some laughter. As did the 'hip swiveling' dance moves from the dancer boy. HA!
Ann! Celebrities - peeshaw! I didn't look for you because I didn't think you'd be there!!! *sad lobster*
I did see Carol in FL and I'm pretty sure I spied Alyse with her grandson on the same row. I was in the first row of the balcony - so I couldn't holler. Hee
And if it wasn't Alyse - then, there was a lovely woman in a gorgeous black dress using sign language to talk to a cute little boy sitting next to her.
I loved my seat and I loved his voice .. and Jill pretty much covered everything else. He did do a little stomp jump at the end of the glory note on DSIAFCD. Which is my favorite song - so it didn't bother me that we didn't get GN.
In regards to 'the Christmas Spirit' ... I gave my Clearwater ticket up so a friend of mine could see it with her friend.
I think Clay Aiken owes me a hug for that. Yep. Preferably AFTER he's had his massage.

Oh, yes, Lisa M, speculating is fun! Right now I find myself speculating furiously about a two hour mASSage.
