I can't get any of artquest's links to work? Is it me or is it the links? Help!
Nelle, the sock page is hilarious and I love it! I've been wearing stripey socks for years and years, so I can't be accused of copying Clay! I don't do pantyhose (hate those suckers!!:), so I wear socks every single day to work and I have a drawer full of socks just like Clay's! Now I'm really glad I do! (Hey Clay, you copied me!;)
My friend, Deb (my partner in crime on buying those great row 2 seats:) took a lot of photos. I'll do my best to post some of them on a page today. The first few I've received are great!! JTGranny was right in front of us and she videoed and snapped photos the entire night. Can't wait to see hers. I envisioned this little old gray haired lady as JTGranny, but that is quite opposite of the fact! :)
Quiana's MGUCW was fabulous last night! She is just amazing to me. Jacob's voice was missed in certain songs, but overall no loss IMHO. I think he committed career suicide (again in MHO).
William is fabulous. I really enjoyed his opening. He sold a lot of albums in the lobby and had people mobbed around him getting autographs. I bet you he was there for a while getting them all signed.
My favorite part was the "church show" part -- Clay's voice was better than I've ever heard it in this part (especially). He got many standing ovations during this. He did some stuff with OHN and a couple of the others I hadn't heard in any of the previous Clack. WOW is all I have to say. As Jimmy always says "That boy CAN SING and I swear to you he's discovered a way to breathe through his butt. No one can hold a note that long otherwise!" (hehe) He's firmly convinced of that after last night!
I think all of you know how much I love Clay (because you all love him just as much), but after last night, my love for him has soared through the heavens. I literally never took my eyes off of him and the joy in his eyes and on his face just blows me off the map. The one thing that strikes me the most about him everytime I see him up close and personal are his sparkly eyes. It is as if fireworks are going off in his eyes constantly, almost other-worldly! He is, without a single doubt, the most adorable human being ever born on this entire planet! I LOVE YOU, CLAY AIKEN! THANK GOD FOR CLAY AIKEN!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

Last night, TFN grabbed me, threw me back against my seat, relentlessly pounded me with wave after wave of ecstatic sound, coming back for more when I thought it couldn't possibly get any better, and then left me breathless and shaking when it was done.
My heart is still racing.

Good Morning all!! What a nice present I received when I opened the pps. That is a great MP, Nelle. I had no idea he had so many stripey socks. Isn't he something. I just lurve him. Happy second anniversary to Filly Sue, a class act. I received my copy of Spike's (Terry Piper) new book. This is a must-have for anyone who wants a comprehensive look at everything about Clay since his Atlanta audition until JN05. She adds lots of stories and pictures, and real insights into the origin and growth of the Clay Nation. I was pleased to note that she included my name in her acknowledgements. I have only just started to read this, so I can only tell you that LBFCA is mentioned on page 201 and is in the Index. What fun! Positive vibes go out to Gregory. Also sending hugs and prayers to Terry NC, Alyse, Hunter and Diana in the Loo.

Yay, JaneP! Great to get your Early Broad Report.
Oooo, artquest! What a kind gift. I know one of our Atlanta Broads might be quite pleased to find those when she returns home.
I'm dropping something off, too....just a little sock footed fun on the MP!
I LOVE LBFCA!
I LOVE CLAY AIKEN ALWAYS AND FOREVER!!!!!!!!

The show was AMAZING (of course), but some news we heard was NOT good.
Some parents of children in the show were sitting in the audience and they told someone that Gregory is in the hospital in Atlanta and that he has a serious illness and isn't expected to be back in the show for a few shows. (To be honest with you, I'm so tired and mind blown right now I can't remember if she said juvenile diabetes or juvenile leukemia, but it was one of these). They also said that Clay spent several hours at the hospital with him today. As to whether this is a new discovery or if he's just had a set back, I have no idea. We didn't hear that part. And, of COURSE, as with anything one might hear at a concert from "someone in the audience" who knows if it is even true or not. I just hope he gets better soon. The little fella who filled in tonight did a good job for it to be his first night and having only learned his parts starting at 2:00 this afternoon!
Our seats were absolutely perfect and Clay was sooooo close we could almost touch him (Row 2, pit). The stage was really low so our view was IDEAL. I didn't even take a camera with me tonight, but you can bet I didn't miss a single memory burn because I never once took my eyes off of Clay. He was beyond amazing. I would give anything if I could see this show again and again, but alas it isn't to be this time. NEXT YEAR! :)

OK, during the DSIAFCD banter, Clay said Gregory was ill, and the doctor recommended he not perform...But, Gregroy is expected to be back with the show...Clay didn't specify when, but GBB was reporter, and she had an impression of days.
Clay then said something like, 'so then we all panicked.' Heh.
They got this new kid into the venue about 2pm, and Alison re-wrote the script to take over a lot of Tommy's lines.
TFN was EXTRAORDINARY. Again! How does he do that??????????
Sending Broadly Healing Prayers to Gregory, and Broadly Support to Clay and Company.

Just a quick drive-by. I'm so far behind on email and PP's, but had to tell y'all what I did. Our soloist at church is going to be out of town tomorrow, and we are small, not much backup. Usually I would replace her, but I was doing something else for the service. Anyway, we decided to use a CD instead. Guess what I picked! Yeah, y'all are so quick! Clay is going to sing the solo at church tomorrow. I picked the O Come All Ye Faithful medley. Hope I can continue what I need to do after hearing that! Hugs to all
