Staggering to the PPs to pour out what's left of my brain...last night was beautiful. Just unbelievable. The Broad Mum woke up this morning & admitted she had been prepared to be disappointed in the show, BUT...heh, heh. She's listening to my Vancouver cd right now & I can't get the smile off her face.
Clay hit 2 clinker notes in the 1st half, I think; his voice sounded a bit tired, or maybe he was slightly stopped up. But the show was just amazing. Watching him as the angel, watching & encouraging & nudging his earthly charges, was too sweet. And his voice just got better as the night went on. Thus why he needs ME ME ME to tour with him & make him warm up before going onstage...
Speaking of warming up, anybody heard from our m&g Broads? Are the Broad Mum & I gonna hafta go bail em out? :-D
BEVR to follow, as soon as I can get more brain cells to bang together. I promise this time! Till then I'll just say the Nashville crowd really got it!! They cheered at all the right times--including the 1 time Clay snarked on a flasher down front!!! (only a couple of flashes during GN & the audience groaned disapproval both times. I was so proud of em) DSIAFCD: the place exploded like a dynamited moonshine still on that glory note.

Sue, I think he sings MGUCL on Christmas Day on GMA. I'll have a houseful on Christmas Eve till the wee hours. I'll have bags under my eyes getting up to tape it. ( reminds self to blab to family members that Mom wants a Tivo for Christmas!)

If I thought the word "Bethlehem" was a peaen of joy in a previous show, it was gilded joy woven with unceasing unquestionable childworthy faith tonight. Wow, one of the single most beautiful sounds ever. That one word caught my attention while I was doing chores. Amazing. This Emmanuel is keeping my attention. Reporter just said oh.my.god. And in a reverent way. That last rejoice was so soft. Crowd applauded for beginning of MDYK.
